喝茶买茶三万昌 百年老店三万昌。三万昌——始创于清咸丰五年(公元1855年)的茶业老字号,距今已有一百多年的历史了。始创人为苏州人氏盛尧明。字号“三万昌”，意喻为“绵绵不绝，繁荣昌盛”。当时的茶馆商人在这里洽谈生意，报人在这里获取信息，文人在茶馆里高谈学术，甚至还有“吃讲茶”“讲斤头”的风趣习俗(类似于民间法庭)，苏州人叫做“茶会”。
