General information
广州市银河烈士陵园（又称广州市银河革命公墓）是国家民政部、广东省委省政府和广州市委市政府分别授牌的爱国主义教育基地，是广州市爱国主义教育示范基地。其主要职责是负责保管存放广东省、广州市、中央驻穗单位和驻穗部队所属公务员、烈士、军人、国有企事业单位的管理人员和专业技术人员、对社会主义革命和建设有突出贡献的人员、在国内外有影响的爱国知名人士、援助我国建设的国际友人、其他因特殊情况需要在公墓安（存）放骨灰的人员等的骨灰；负责对陵园内的烈士纪念建筑物实施保护和管理；负责收集、整理、陈列革命烈士史料和遗物，宣传革命烈士的英雄事迹。陵园位于广州市天河区燕岭路394号，占地面积19万平方米。是广州市民政局属下的优抚事业单位。
